i've been a little bit of a sword and dagger maker since i've been little. i don't know what got me into making that stuff, but i've always liked knives and other blades. my grandpap used to make all kinds of stuff out of metal so even though i was never really taught how to do it i kinda picked up on ways to do stuff like that. so i got into metal and wood work. i just finished my best sword yet. it was a ton of work i squeezed into a little over a week. it was all worth it. i made the sword for a realy good friend of mine for her 50th birthday. Sue Molnar has been such a good friend to me since i was like 14 or 15. so i decided to make her a nice sword. i knew she would like it. she loved it. and i was so amazed by all the compliments i recieved over it. at the party i was nothing but smiles. it felt realy good. it's not too often i feel that good about something.
 i'm also starting to get commissions for swords and daggers. it'll take some time before i'm really ready to start doing very many commissions on things with the fursuits to do, and the wings to finish.i may get one or two going. and i have a couple dagger ideas i'd like to make. so it all depends on how the fursuits are going.

my studio is a mess, with the band recording and playing shows, and me trying to pack in making two full fursuits and one partial suit  by the time Anthrocon rolls around in 08. there are patch cords, fur, foam and other things everywhere. and i still need to tear out my vocal booth to make room seeing as how i don't think i'm going to be doing any serious recording anymore.  i still have to get the fur for my Das Wulf fursuit, which is really holding me up. that and i have alot going on right now.
    with the hollidays over maybe i can get more work done instead socializing with family and being buisy decorating and all that stuff. the hollidays did go by pretty quick this year it seems. as do weekends. 
    i'm realy excited about Anthrocon 08. this will be my first convention. and i want to do it in style. by going in my new fursuit. my sisterinlaw and my buddy are going with me but i don't know if they will want to stay the whole time. i'm also excited to meet Volk. and some other people i met online that will be attending the con. i think it's going to be a blast!
